Our house is in the middle of the tween and teen age and NOT the gumboot stage! While it was easy to send them to school with boots when they were young, once they get into playing school yard soccer or are concerned with their personal style, rain boots (and coats haha) are not going to work!

Perfect for School Days
Mattias went for the black, classic for school and he will wear them to and from school as well as for gym class. He does prefer a separate shoe for sports (he plays ball hockey) so we do keep those in his hockey bag. But 99% of the time, unless he is going out the door in slides, he is slipping on a pair of Vessi’s. I love knowing his feet are not going to be soaked by the time he gets to school It’s a 30-minute walk to his high school compared to the 5-minute walk to his elementary school and being a kid, he’s likely to cut across the grass field. My toes cringe at the thought of walking on wet grass to school. All of you West Coasters know this well!

Through the winter, our Vessi’s are great for wet parking lots, cue the winter slush and have awesome traction! I personally love that they slip on! They are quick to head out the door with the kids!
